Who We Are

 

The officers of Rewarding Work Resources, Inc. are Elenore M. Parker, Jeffrey A. Keilson, and Donald G. James.

  • Elenore M. Parker

    President

    Elenore is president and co-founder of Rewarding Work Resources, Inc. and manages all day to day operations.

    Previously, Elenore was co-founder of the marketing and communications firm, Parker & James Communications, Inc. She managed "Rewarding Work," the workforce recruitment program developed by Parker & James for the Massachusetts Department of Development Disabilities (DDS). The success of this program inspired the founding of Rewarding Work Resources, Inc, as an independent non-profit organization.

    As head of Parker & James Communications, she received the Super Bell ─ the highest achievement in regional public relations ─ from the Publicity Club of New England for the campaign she directed for Framingham (Mass.) State College.

    The parent of a son with developmental disabilities, Parker serves on the advisory board of Friend 2 Friend, a mentoring program of Jewish Big Brothers/Big Sisters for adults with disabilities, and is a member of the "Kitchen Cabinet" advisory board for One Family Scholars, a program to end family homelessness in Massachusetts. She is past president of Boston Children's Theatre and of the Publicity Club of New England

    Elenore earned her B.S. and M.S. degrees in education from the University of Massachusetts.

    Jeffrey Keilson

    Jeffrey A. Keilson, co-founder and vice president of Rewarding Work Resources, is former Director of the Metro Region of the Mass. Department of Develpmental Disabilities (DDS), a region covering nearly 40% of the Massachusetts population and and providing supports to more than 9000 individuals and families. He worked with an operating budget of $270 million and more than $100 millian of federal reimbursement. Before that, he was Director of the Lindemann Mental Health Center in Boston and Assistant Commissioner for Community Programs for DDS.

    Since 2001, Jeff Keilson, has been an independent consultant to private and governmental agencies. He has worked in more than a dozen states addressing workforce issues and implementing strategies to support self-determination and self-advocacy for people with disabilities. He has more than 30 years experience working with people with disabilities and their families.

    Keilson is a graduate of George Washington Univ. in Washington, D.C. and has an MA degree from the New School for Social Research in New York City.

  • Donald G. James

    Donald James

    Donald G. James is co-founder and director of Rewarding Work Resources, Inc.

    Don has extensive experience in advertising, marketing, and public relations for non-profit organizations. Expert in the area of database direct marketing, he has produced many successful campaigns for health-related organizations. As Director of Advertising for Parker & James Communications, he has developed comprehensive marketing campaigns for hospitals, nursing homes, Visiting Nurse Associations, and home health agencies.

    He is a graduate of Boston University School of Public Relations and Communications.
